New Google Earth Satellite Imagery for June 2007

As anticipated by Google Earth enthusiasts, Google has updated its public satellite imagery in Google Earth (see the announcement). I checked in Google Earth and it seems that in the Philippines, only one new Digital Globe image was added: Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Shown below is the world-class Dos Palmas Arreceffi Island Resort in Palawan.
The imagery in Google Maps is not updated yet, so you need to use Google Earth to see the new and updated imagery from all over the world. Curiously, the Google announcement says that the imagery in Manila was updated, but I see no evidence of any update anywhere. They’re still showing the Digital Globe CitySphere mosaic that I pointed out back in October.
