“Take Me to the Clouds Above” was my song of the week last week. It’s a dance track created by the English dance group LMC. The song combines two 80’s hits: “With or Without You” by U2 and “How Will I Know” by Whitney Houston. The opening lines of Whitney’s song, sung by Rachel MacFarlane, was overlaid on the background intro of U2’s song. Combined with great electronic melodies and a fast percussion line, this song totally rocks!

The song was released in 2003 and surged to popularity around the world in the first half of 2004. Only now have I learned much about this great track that I’ve heard several times in the club I frequent. The track already has several house and trance remixes, of which the ones I like the most are the Radio Edit and the Audiolush Remix.
