There was another large earthquake that struck almost exactly five hours ago on the same fault line as the earthquake that struck December 26 last year. Fortunately, there were no tsunamis reported from this 8.7 magnitude quake.
Geologists think that this is just an aftershock of last year’s tragedy, albeit a very big one. What’s interesting is how fast news spreads. Already we have a nice article on the Wikipedia. And bloggers everywhere are talking about it (follow the link coz’ it will age fast).
